Hey everyone; welcome to Part 12 in our series of ‘Did u Know that Smart Homes Can…… posts.
In this week’s post, I explain that smart homes allow you to turn off everything in your house ranging from appliances, to lights and heating when you or a family member leaves home.
PEACE OF MIND PROBLEMS
Pretty much, most of us have a morning ritual to check the following before leaving the house:
- All the lights are turned off around the house.
- The Heating is turned off.
- The blinds or curtains are opened…
- Power is off for appliances such as the cooker.
Rituals are great, however on occasions when en-route doubt can arise, when one of your family poses a question such as ‘did someone turn off the clothes iron?’.
Moisture on the walls is not good, and wiping the mirrors with a towel, which creates unsightly streaks on the glass is not an ideal situation…
Two options, let the doubt nag you all day or turn back or turn your car around and head back home……
A SMART HOME SYSTEM CAN ELIMINATE DOUBT
If you had a smart homes system, it would be just a matter of checking your smartphone and verifying that the clothes iron is actually switched off.
Smart homes allow you to set up a function on your system that can be activated when you are away from home.
Pretty useful!
