HONEYWELL ANNOUNCES NEW SMART THERMOSTAT
Earlier in the week, Honeywell launched a new smart thermostat, branded ‘LYRIC’.
It is considered by Analysts the first real challenge to the dominant position held by Google NEST in the smart thermostat business. Similar to NEST, LYRIC comes in a circular form factor.
As with all smart thermostats, LYRIC is controllable locally or via a mobile App. Advanced features such as tracking your whereabouts and attempting to reduce energy usage in your home are also supported.
The Press Release also notes that the LYRIC will be available in two separate finishes, namely gloss white and silver.
