USING THE CAR TO CONTROL YOUR SMART HOME
CNET reports a mechanism that enables you to switch different items on your home with the car ignition. The concept is based on using three specific Internet of Things items, namely IFTTT, Automatic (smart car accessory device), and of course some smart home devices such as smart plugs.
UPCOMING GOOGLE SMART HOMES ANNOUNCEMENT
According to investors.com, there is speculation that Google will ramp up its Smart Home and Wearable technology initiatives. The company needs to react to Apple’s recent Homekit smart home platform announcement. Will keep you up to date on how things turn out at next week’s developer’s conference.

For this week’s wearables news item, decided to pick an article over at Crunchwear that hints of Google’s plan to release a competing platform to Apple’s Healthkit system. Purely speculation, but we will keep you current as to how Googles Wearables Technology plans might evolve.
