Digital Trends reports this week that Smart Home Hub supplier Revolv has added some new capabilities to its platform, namely:
- Now includes support for Android smartphones.
- Integrates with the popular Nest Learning Thermostat.
The main purpose of Revolv is to act as a gateway for various types of smart home systems in your home.
SMART HOUSE ADOPTERS WILL HAVE 50+ WIRELESS SENSORS BY 2018
A press release from a company called ON World reports that it recently completed a survey with over 1,000 U.S. consumers found that 20% of likely smart home adopters believe they will have 50 or more wireless sensors in their home within the next five years and data reliability was selected as the most important feature of a smart home system.
