LATEST ENTRANT TO SMART HOUSE HUB MARKET
Endgaget reports this week that Smart Home Hub supplier, Ninja Blocks has started accepting its first pre-orders for the Ninja Sphere.
The Ninja Sphere hub learns about you, and your environment. It uses data from sensors and actuators to build a model that can inform you if something is out of place.
It can monitor temperature, lighting, energy usage, you and your pets’ presence, and anything else you connect to your sphere.
By using data from your devices, environment, and location your sphere is able to advise you intelligently and give you control only when you need it. Keep an eye on this.
ALL IN-ONE SMART HOUSE SECURITY KIT LAUNCHED
The DIY market for smart home security is growing and there are a plethora of products out there that can help to keep the thieves out…
A company in the USA called Skylink launched a complete alarm system, with a compatible smartphone app.
As with all smart home 2.0 products it comes with an Internet hub and a variety of different sensors including ones that will detect motion, water damage, intrusion, and more. Its a growing space and I have it covered extensively in the latest edition of the ‘Manage Your Smart Home Book’.
